Vehicle Stop, Driver No Insurance

During patrols this evening, officers stopped this vehicle in the Darley Dale area regarding for a documents check.

While the officer is conducting checks regarding no insurance, the driver quickly says they have some.

Unfortunately, the driver didn’t realise the time they took the policy out was displayed and was shown to be after the vehicle was stopped. Eagle eyed officers spotted this and brought it to the driver’s attention.

The driver, realising the game is up, then admits to driving the vehicle without insurance.
